Please Read Carefully

Medical Conditions & Suitability

You will be unable to proceed with Lip Blush, Microblading or SPMU Saline Removal treatments if any of the following apply to you:

You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

You have undergone Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy within the last 5 weeks. Note: All clients who have had Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy within the last 12 months require a medical note from their Doctor confirming they are able to have the treatment.

You have used Accutane or Roaccutane within the last 6 months.

You have had Botox or Filler within two weeks of your appointment date on or around the treatment area. You must also wait a minimum of 2 weeks (recommended 4 weeks) after your appointment before having Botox or Filler in the area.

You have Nickel or Titanium Dioxide allergies.

You are unwell with a cold, flu, or sinus/respiratory infection. Please reschedule with as much notice as possible. If you arrive unwell, your appointment will be cancelled and standard cancellation policy will apply.

You have Type 1 Diabetes.

You have Epilepsy.

You have a pacemaker or heart condition.

You have viral infections or transmittable blood disease, HIV or Hepatitis.

You have Haemophilia.

You are prone to Keloid scarring.

You are taking blood-thinning medication.

You have a condition affecting wound healing.

You have unrealistic expectations, or do not intend to follow pre-treatment and aftercare instructions.

Cold Sore Sufferers — Lip Blush If you suffer from cold sores and wish to have a Lip Blush treatment, you must ask your doctor for a prescription of antiviral medication (such as Acyclovir) and take this for 3 days before and after your appointment to prevent an outbreak. This is your responsibility to arrange. If this has not been followed, your appointment will not go ahead and standard cancellation policy will be enforced.

Additional Notes Darker lip colours may require Lip Neutralisation prior to Lip Blush (fees differ and vary between individuals). Some treatments may not be suitable for all clients — we will always advise you of this in your best interest.

Safety First

Patch Tests & Consent Forms

Patch tests are required for brow tinting, brow lamination, lash lift and laser hair removal treatments — at least 24–48 hours before your appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure this has been completed in time. Failure to do so will result in an alteration to your treatment or appointment cancellation, with standard cancellation policy enforced.

If your treatment type is altered due to a missing patch test, the original appointment fee will still be required.

Patch tests are optional for Semi-Permanent Makeup, Scar Camouflage and Areola Tattooing treatments. If you would like to complete one ahead of your appointment, it is your responsibility to contact Penny directly to arrange this prior to your appointment date.

All new semi-permanent makeup and medical tattooing clients must complete a digital consent form at least 48 hours before their appointment. Treatment cannot go ahead without this.

Medical Needling A patch test is not required for Medical Needling treatments as we are not depositing any ink or pigment into the skin.

Getting Ready

Treatment Preparation

Pre-treatment advice will be sent to you upon booking. This may include:

Avoiding alcohol, caffeine, or blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin) before your appointment.

Arriving with clean, makeup-free skin on the treatment area.

Avoiding sun exposure or certain skincare products in the days before treatment.

Following all guidance ensures the best possible outcome and healing.

Age Requirement

Age Policy

Clients must be 18 years or over for all semi-permanent makeup, medical tattooing and laser treatments.

Proof of age may be requested at your appointment.

Brow and lash treatments are available for clients aged 14–17, however written parental or guardian approval is required and a parent or guardian must be present at the appointment. Please contact us directly to arrange this prior to booking.

Booking

Booking & Payment Policy

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This must be paid within 24 hours of booking — your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been made.

The booking fee will be deducted from your final treatment cost.

The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment — cash or card accepted.

Repeated Late Cancellations Repeated late cancellations may result in full payment being required upfront for all future bookings. Failure to pay cancellation fees will result in all future appointments being cancelled and an inability to rebook with us.

Punctuality

Late Arrivals

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being cancelled and the cancellation policy being enforced. This is to protect our time and the time of our other clients.

In the Studio

Clinic Policy

All medical tattooing and SPMU clients must be over the age of 18.

Children are strictly not permitted in the clinic at any time.

Food and beverages are not permitted in the clinic due to hygiene requirements.

We kindly ask that you attend your appointment alone unless otherwise agreed. If you require a companion or carer for accessibility reasons, please let us know in advance.

Results

Micropigmentation Results

No Guarantee of Results We do not offer any guarantee for Lip Blush, Microblading, SPMU Saline Removal or Medical Tattooing results. Results vary between every individual.

Aftercare, skin type and lifestyle directly impact results and vary between every individual.

New and Colour Boost Lip Blush and Microblading clients may require additional top-up appointments to achieve their desired results. Top-up appointment fees will apply.

Medical tattooing treatments — including scar camouflage, stretch mark camouflage and areola tattooing — may also require more than one session to achieve the desired result, depending on the size, depth and colour of the area being treated. This will always be discussed at your consultation.

Full aftercare instructions will be provided after your treatment. Following them closely is essential for optimal healing and long-lasting results.
