Aftercare Instructions

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours post treatment.
Gently blot the treatment area with a clean, dry cotton pad during the 24 hours post treatment to avoid lymph build up.
Do not get the treatment area wet until the peeling/flaking phase has completed.
Do not touch the area until the peeling/flaking phase has completed.
Do not pick, itch or rub the treated area.
Do not apply any makeup, products or creams on or directly around the treated area until fully healed.

Avoid excessive sweating for two weeks. Moderate exercise is permitted.

Lip Blush Only
Apply the vitamin balm provided to you generously and consistently (every 2–3 hours) with a fresh clean cotton bud and clean hands each time, until the peeling/flaking phase has completed.
Use straws for all beverages and eat in small bites to avoid contacting the treated area.
Avoid oily, salty and spicy foods during the healing phase.

Microblading Only
Apply any aftercare balm provided using a clean cotton bud only.
Sleep on a clean pillowcase and try to sleep on your back where possible.

The Healing Cycle

Within 72 hours after your appointment you may experience swelling, redness, tightness, dryness, itching and tenderness. This is completely normal.
The colour will be up to 50% darker immediately after your appointment and may continue to develop darker for the next 48 hours.
The Ghosting Phase — This Is Normal Once the flaking phase has completed, it may look like the colour has disappeared completely. This is completely normal and part of the healing cycle. The colour will begin to show again as the skin continues to heal from the inside.
Your Top-Up Appointment Once you have hit four weeks, you are ready to schedule your top-up appointment — recommended at 4–6 weeks for Microblading and 6–8 weeks for Lip Blush.

Post Healing Guidance

Please NoteThere is never any complete guarantee of micropigmentation results. Results will always vary depending on skin type, aftercare and lifestyle.

Always use a minimum SPF 50 on the treated area. Sun exposure is the number one cause of fading and colour alteration.
Do not use chemical exfoliants on the area — this causes increased fading.
Do not laser (including IPL) the area. If you are having laser treatments done, ensure you inform your practitioner prior.
