What is Medical Needling?
Medical needling e.g. “Inkless Tattooing” is a treatment that uses specialised, medical-grade equipment to create controlled micro-injuries in damaged skin. This process stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and melanocytes.
Our advanced technique allows us to precisely target specific areas and trigger four stages of tissue repair: coagulation, inflammation, regeneration, and maturation—setting it apart from other treatments available.
What is it for?
It is an effective treatment for smoothing raised or textured scars, helping bring them closer to the skin’s surface, and improving pigmentation. However, results can vary, and not all skin types will respond in the same way.
Most commonly used on:
- Traumatic scars – from cuts, burns, accidents, or injuries
- Surgical scars – from medical procedures
- Atrophic scars – indented scars (often from acne or chickenpox)
- Self Harm Scars
- Stretch Marks
Is there any downtime?
There is no formal downtime, and you can return to your normal daily activities immediately after treatment.
That said, the treated area may appear red and slightly raised for several weeks, so it’s worth planning your sessions around events such as holidays or special occasions.
When will I see results?
Results differ from person to person, so it’s not possible to give a precise timeline.
Many clients notice visible improvements after just a few sessions.
We will assess your scar to determine whether the treatment is suitable and beneficial for you. A personalised quote will then be provided.
How much is it?
Pricing varies depending on the size of the area and severity of thee scarring.
