It is your responsibility to ensure that the below information has been understood and agreed to prior to booking your appointment with us.
Medical Conditions & Suitability
Please note you will be unable to proceed with Lip Blush, Microblading or SPMU Saline Removal treatments if you have any of the below contraindications:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding,
- Have undergone Chemotherapy/Radiotherapy within the last 5 weeks (please note all clients who have had Chemotherapy/Radiotherapy within the last 12 months require a medical note from their Doctor confirming they are able to have the treatment).
- Used Accutane or Roaccutane within the last 6 months,
- Had Botox or Filler within two weeks of your appointment date on/around the treatment area (you must also wait a minimum of 2, recommended 4, weeks after your appointment to have Botox or Filler on/around the treatment area).
- Have Nickel or Titanium Dioxide allergies,
- Are sick with cold, flu, or sinus/respiratory infections (please reschedule your appointment with as much notice as possible and stay at home to recover. If you arrive unwell to your appointment it will unfortunately be cancelled and standard cancellation policy enforced, this is to protect us and our clients’ health and wellbeing).
- Have type 1 Diabetes,
- Have Epilepsy,
- Have a pacemaker or heart condition/s,
- Have viral infections and or transmittable blood disease, HIV or Hepatitis,
- IF YOU SUFFER FROM COLDSORES AND WANT TO HAVE A LIP BLUSH TREATMENT YOU MUST ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR A PRESCRIPTION OF ANTI-VIRAL MEDICATION (SUCH AS ACYCLOVIR) AND TAKE THESE FOR 3 DAYS PRIOR AND AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT TO PREVENT A BREAKOUT. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE, IF THIS IS NOT FOLLOWED YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL NOT GO AHEAD AND STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY ENFORCED.
- Have Haemophilia,
- Are prone to Keloid scarring,
- Are taking blood thinning medication,
- Have condition/s effecting wound healing,
- Have unrealistic expectations, do not follow treatment preparation and aftercare instructions.
- Darker lip colours may require Lip Neutralisation prior to Lip Blush (fees differ to Lip Blush and vary between individuals).
- Some treatments may not be suitable, and we’ll always advise you of this in your best interest.
Patch Tests
- Patch tests are required for certain treatments (e.g. SPMU, tinting, LVL, laser) at least 24–48 hours before your appointment. If unsure, please check when booking.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that a patch test has been completed with the relevant amount of time prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in an alteration to your treatment type or appointment cancellation and our standard cancellation policy enforced.
- If your treatment type is altered, the original appointment fee will still be required.
Treatment Preparation
Pre-treatment advice will be sent to you upon booking. This may include:
- Avoiding alcohol, caffeine, or blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin).
- Not wearing makeup to your appointment.
- Avoiding sun exposure or certain skincare products.
- Following this guidance ensures the best outcome and healing.
- FOR SPMU TREATMENTS PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE SPMU PRE/POST CARE TAB PRIOR TO BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Age Policy
- Clients must be 18+ for all semi-permanent makeup and laser treatments. Proof of age may be required.
Booking & Payment Policy
- A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This must be made within 24 hours of booking your appointment, the appointment is not confirmed until the payment has been made.
- This will be deducted from the final treatment cost.
- The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment (cash or card accepted).
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- 5 Days - Date/time change permitted.
- 4-3 Days - Loss of deposit.
- 48 Hours - Full payment required.
- Failure to pay cancellation fees will result in all future appointments being cancelled and unable to rebook with us.
- Repeated late cancellations may require full payment upfront for future bookings.
Late Appointments
- If you're running late, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being cancelled, and the above cancellation policy enforced. This is to protect ours and our clients’ time.
CLINIC POLICY
- All SPMU clients must be over the age of 18.
- Children are strictly not allowed in the clinics.
- Food & beverages are not allowed in the clinics due to hygiene reasons.
Aftercare
- You’ll receive full aftercare instructions after your treatment. Following them closely is essential for optimal healing and long-lasting results.
MICROPIGMENTATION RESULTS GUARANTEE
- We do not offer any guarantee for Lip Blush, Microblading or SPMU Saline Removal results.
- Results vary from each individual.
- Aftercare, skin type and lifestyle directly impact results and again vary between every individual.
- New & Colour Boost Lip Blush & Microblading clients may require additional top up appointments to achieve the desired results (top up appointments fees will apply).
Yes — all bookings require a non-refundable deposit within 24 hours to secure your appointment. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.
You can reschedule with 5+ days’ notice.
* 3–4 days’ notice: Deposit is lost
* Less than 48 hours: Full payment required
* Failure to pay will result in future appointments being cancelled and blocked from booking again.
A 10-minute grace period is allowed. Any later, and your appointment may unfortunately need to be cancelled and the 48-hour policy will apply. Please plan ahead to avoid disappointment.
Yes — all new SPMU, Brow & Lash clients must have a patch test done at least 48 hours before treatment. This ensures your safety and suitability for the service. Contact directly to enquire regarding postal patch tests for SPMU.
Yes — all new SPMU clients must complete a digital consent form at least 48 hours before the appointment. You won’t be treated without this.
Please arrive makeup-free, especially around the treatment area. This allows us to use the full appointment time effectively and achieve better results.
Most clients feel only mild discomfort. We use high-quality numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout. The sensation is often described as light scratching.
SPMU results typically last 12–24 months, depending on your skin, lifestyle, and aftercare. A top-up is required 4–8 weeks after the first session for best results. Annual top-up’s are recommended to maintain results.
Initial downtime is usually around 3-7 days post treatment until you can resume your usual routine, e.g. make-up, skincare on the treated area. The full healing cycle takes about 4–6 weeks. Expect minor redness, swelling, or flaking in the first few days. Full results appear after the skin has fully healed.
Yes — but only after an assessment. In some cases, we may recommend saline or laser removal first if the old pigment is too dark, uneven, or saturated. If you have had previous semi-permanent make up that has not faded completely, please enquire with us directly about this prior to treatment.

Keeping up with regular appointments will maintain your look.
Laser offers long-term hair reduction, not instant permanent removal. Most clients need 8-10 sessions, with occasional maintenance top-ups for best results.
Yes — we use technology that’s suitable for most skin tones and hair types. A patch test and consultation are required to ensure the right settings for you.
If payment isn’t made after a late cancellation, all future bookings will be cancelled, and you will be unable to book again. We strictly enforce this policy to protect our’s and our clients time.
To maintain a calm, focused environment, we kindly ask that you attend your appointment alone unless otherwise agreed. No children or guests in the treatment room, please. If you require a companion, carer or guardian to accompany you for accessibility reasons, please let us know in advance.
